This "Beauty on a Budget" skincare recipe will help keep your skin looking nourished, bright and beautiful. It only requires four ingredients that you can find in your pantry: Avocado, honey, lemon and uncooked oatmeal. Enjoy!
Avocado: Is rich in Vitamins A, B1, B2, D and E, protein and fatty acids. It is also high in antioxidants. The oil adds luster and shine to a dull complexion.
Honey: Is a natural antibacterial, anti-fungal, and antiseptic. It is also a natural humectant (a substance that attracts and retains moisture), and a natural and traditional way to lighten skin.
Lemon: Tones skin to help combat wrinkles and spider veins and it acts as an antiseptic.
Oatmeal: Gently exfoliates, soothes, nourishes and softens skin.
In a bowl, mash fresh avocado into a smooth paste. Add honey, lemon juice and ground oatmeal and mix thoroughly.
Take a warm wet towel and apply it to your face to open your pores (roughly 1 minute).
Apply replenishing facial mask; leave it on the skin for 20 minutes to deeply nourish your skin.
Wash it off to reveal glowing skin. Be sure to apply a light moisturizer after cleaning your face
